No.8 The Pavement, Clapham, the M. Miles, Umbrella & Walking Stick Manufacturer shop. A photographic postcard addressed to Miss Annie Frands, 71 Victoria Road [Rise], Clapham, from Gertie and postmarked 16th October 1909. The photograph shows John Miles standing outside the shop with his second wife adjacent. Gertrude was the daughter of John Miles by his first wife and her card thanks Annie for a wedding present that included a hot water jug - she married on 17th October 1909. ID; IV336/5/23
