MAIN ENTRANCE, WATERLOO STATION

Main entrance steps to Waterloo Station as viewed from Mepham Street. Known as the Victory Arch, it was designed by J.R. Scott as a war memorial to the London South West Railway servicemen killed during World War I and the statues depict war and peace beneath Britannia. It was unveiled on 21st March 1922.
