Children posing in New Street, off Princes Street, Lambeth. Photograph taken using the 'wet plate' method by William Strudwick (1834-1910).  His stamp imprinted on the mounts of his photographs states: 'W. Strudwick, Draughtsman and Photographer, Thurlow Park Road, W. Dulwich SE.'  The 1884 Street Directory records him living at Albany Villa, No.68 Thurlow Park Road.
