To Let sign outside No.1 Stockwell Green, Stockwell, 'at one time a hall, originally British Schools'. Built in a Jacobean revival style, it was opened on 8th March 1848 as an Educational Institute funded by the Stockwell New Chapel congregation and containing a meeting hall for lectures.Watercolour by June Everett dated 1978.
