Panoramic view of The Thames from The Adelphi. Section five looking up the river towards Westminster Bridge, with Lambeth Palace in the distance and Brixton Hill on the horizon. The bridge was opened in 1750 and was designed by Charles Labelye. It was replaced by the present bridge which was completed in 1862Section 4/5, 'A General View of London from The Adelphi' from 'The Panorama of The Thames' published by Samuel Leigh, c.1830.
