QUEEN ANNE PUBLIC HOUSE, VAUXHALL WALK, VAUXHALL

A dancer at the Queen Anne public house in Vauxhall Walk. London's most historic strippers' pub began providing adult entertainment in 1959 when the landlord George Lever had a dancer perform on stage for an hour or so each Friday and Saturday night. It is currently run by Denise D'Courtenay as a popular pole dancing venue and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2009.Digital image by kind permission of Enzo Peccinotti.
