The Regal Cinema at 304 Norwood Road opened on 16th January 1930 with the movies 'Midnight Daddies' and 'The Letter'. This auditorium seated 2,010 and was designed by F. De Jong & Co. Ltd. The cinema became a Bingo hall in 1964, but closed in 1978 and was demolished in 1981 - the site becoming a B&Q DIY store.Image taken from the souvenir opening programme.
