REPAIRS, PROVIDENCE WHARF, ALBERT EMBANKMENT, VAUXHALL
Council members inspecting repairs to a damaged marking pile at Providence Wharf, off Albert Embankment, Vauxhall. The wharf was used for waste disposal by Lambeth Council - bins were dumped into moored barges and then the waste was taken to Mucking Creek, Essex, for use in a land reclamation scheme.
