RIVER THAMES, WATERLOO

View of the South Bank from north side of The Thames. In the centre is the Shot Tower, built 1826. On the right is the Red Lion Brewery founded in 1837. This area was demolished for the Festival of Britain in 1951, except for the Shot Tower which survived until the early 1960s.Ref: SP12/33/19a
