Handbill for the Royal Brunswick Gardens at Brunswick House, Vauxhall, run by Mr S King. The lawns and walks were surrounded with private boxes, an orchestra stage and several bars. Admission to the grounds was one shilling and access was from either Wandsworth Road or Vauxhall Pier. The 'Royal' in the title is due to the association with the Duke of Brunswick, who lived in the house from 1811-13 when it was known as Belmont House.
