SAINSBURY, STREATHAM HIGH ROAD, STREATHAM COMMON

View looking towards the entrance to Sainsbury's supermarket, Streatham Common South at junction with Streatham High Road. On the extreme left is the Pied Bull public house adjoining the old Beehive Coffee Tavern, built by the temperance movement in 1879. The Beehive is now a solicitor's office and a nursery at the rear section. The tower of the old silk mill can be seen in the distance.
