The waterfront at Waterloo showing the shot towers and old Waterloo Bridge. Girders have begun to be put in place for the temporary bridge prior to demolition. The waterfront on the left was redeveloped initially for the 1951 Festival of Britain, and is now the site of Jubilee Gardens.Watercolour by Norman James, exhibited in the Royal Academy in 1932Ref: LP12/171/WAT.5
