SNUFF BOX, LAMBETH BOARD OF GUARDIANS

Photograph of a snuff box which was discovered in the Town Hall. This engraved snuff box was intended for the use of the members of the Board of Guardians and their successors. It was handed over to the Clerk of the Board of Guardians on September 22nd, 1846. The box was subscribed and paid for by the members of the Board at that time.
