ST JUDE’S CHURCH, HERNE HILL

ST JUDE’S CHURCH, HERNE HILL

St.Jude's Church, Dulwich Road, Herne Hill, was designed by architect Edward C Robins to hold 1,070 people at a cost of £7,900. A fire in 1923 led to a restoration by George Fellowes Pryme, but the church was deconsecrated in 1975. It was converted in 1978 for commercial purposes and became the premises of Budget Furniture, office furniture dealers. Linskey Postcard Collection.
