ST LEONARD’S CHURCH, STREATHAM CENTRAL: FIRE OF 1975

Looking down from the tower towards the chancel and altar. The decorative work by William Dyce RA may just be seen on the chancel wall above the arch. The view shows the extent of damage done by the fire, and the remains of iron columns and adjoining beams which supported the galleries on either side of the nave.
