Detail of the carved corbels in St Mary's Parish Church, Lambeth. Probably commemorating contributors to the restorations to the building carried out at various times, particularly in 1852 when they were fully restored and emblazoned, each corbel shows an angel holding up sheilds with their coats of arms.
