Interior view of St Paul's church, Clapham. Formerly St Mary's, then named Holy Trinity, this north aisle is all that was retained of the old structure when the new Holy Trinity parish church was built on Clapham Common in 1776. It was then used as a chapel for Sunday School and also for burial services, although in 1815 the chapel was rebuilt on a larger scale to accommodate Clapham's growing population. From a glass slide of a drawing, part of the Clapham Antiquarian Society Collection. ID: IV/188, GNS/3/1
