A small villa called St Peter's, built for Michael Pope on the highest point of Thurlow Hill, Tulse Hill/ West Dulwich. The terracotta decorations, including a panel of St Peter, were supplied by Messrs Cooper & Son of Maidenhead and the architects were Batterbury & Huxton.From: The Building News,17th October 1879
