The Orphanage was founded by Pastor C. H. Spurgeon. Built from 1868 to 1883 between Clapham Road and Stockwell Park Crescent. The orphanage provided accommodation for 450 children. Later known as Spurgeon's Homes. Linskey Postcard Collection.
