The Tate Library, Streatham. This library was one of three funded by Sir Henry Tate of Parkhill, Streatham. Designed by the architect Sydney R.Smith, it was opened by Sir Lyon Playfair M.P. in 1891. View of the main reading room and issue desk on the left, with details of the coved ceiling and roof lights.Ref: M14-11-82/ A12
