'Old River Shore near Broad Street', an etching from an unknown artist after a photograph by William Strudwick depicting riverfront of houses in Upper Fore Street. This image was also printed on 9th June 1905 in the South London Mail with a caption noting: 'Although improved and remodelled, Lambeth has still many beauty spots today'. However, this view was swept away about 40 years earlier with the construction of Albert Embankment.Ref: LP12/170/ALB.12, LBL/DAS/RL/1/2/1 p.14
