The Lady Tate Hall in Prentis Road was opened in 1909 for the use of Streatham College for Girls. It was named after Lady Tate who presented the building to the school. When the school closed in 1935, it was acquired to become the South London Liberal Synagogue. ID; IV336/14/88-93
