A detail from a deed on vellum for a lease on the Horns Tavern in Kennington, from Thomas Ellis & Isaac Bates to Edward Evans Townsend and dated 28th February 1805. Listed as an Indenture in three parts between Thomas Swaby Gent., John Austin carpenter and Issac Bates Gent., and trustees of Thomas Ellis victualler and Ann Bates. The plan of the Horns also shows the yard, garden, stables and coach houses.
