TONGE HOUSE, PORTAL TRUST, ROYAL CIRCUS, WEST NORWOOD

Tonge House is run as a home for the elderly by the Portal Trust in Royal Circus, West Norwood. The previous Tonge House was the home to the Portal family, great benefactors to Norwood, and was demolished in 1937 when the present building was built. Photographed on 13th January 2004.
