Trinity Congregational Church in St Matthew's Road seen from Brixton Hill before housing redevelopment. The church was built in 1828 when the area was rural enough for it to be known as 'The Church in the Wood'. It was damaged by bombs during World War II. Photograph by M.D.Trace, dated April 1965.
