TWO SAWYERS PUBLIC HOUSE, 81 LAMBETH PALACE ROAD, LAMBETH

The Two Sawyers, a public house with 18th century origins, at No.81 Lambeth Palace Road. On part of St Thomas's Estate it is shown here prior to demolition in 1961 to make way for rebuilding the new section of St.Thomas's Hospital and ancillary buildings. Situated to the east of Lambeth Palace Road the new additions resulted in the realignment of the road.
