Engraving by George Cruikshank of diners in the supper-boxes, sheltered alcoves in Vauxhall Gardens which had a table and six to eight seats. Each box had it's individual name and a painting by Hayman, a pupil of Hogarth.The pleasure gardens are now marked by Tyers Street and Spring Gardens, renamed Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens in 2012.
