Vauxhall Gardens, Vauxhall. Firework display over the pictorial model of the Temple of Honan of the Three Golden Isles. Inset above, the figure of Joel II Diavolo can be seen making his descent on a single wire amidst fireworks. The pleasure gardens are now marked by Tyers Street and Spring Gardens, renamed Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens in 2012. Engraving from a contemporary periodical, 1845.
