Wedding photograph showing a young Jamaican couple, married at Raleigh Park Baptist Church on 24th June 1961. The bride worked as a nurse in a London hospital, and the groom, who had arrived in England in 1955, was employed as a bus conductor at the time and later worked for the G.P.O., following which he started a successful career in journalism and teaching.
