Wedding group photograph, taken outside Raleigh Park Baptist Church, Brixton Hill. The bridegroom's mother, seen on his left, lived at Crawshey Road, North Brixton, and the bride and the bridesmaids worked as nurses in London. The groom, who had arrived in England in 1955 was employed as a bus conductor at the time and later worked for the G.P.O. following which he started a successful career in journalism and teaching.
