WESTMINSTER BRIDGE, WATERLOO

Satirical illustration from 'A Survey of Westminster Bridge As 'tis now Sinking into Ruin'. Booklet published by the architect, Batty Langley, containing a vitriolic criticism of the bridge designed by Charles Labelye in 1738-1750, after settlement failure of one pier.
