WORLD WAR II BOMB VICTIM, BROCKWELL PARK SHELTER

Form CWD; 'Death Due to War Operations', dated 16th September 1940. A man killed by a bomb on the public shelter in Brockwell Park, Herne Hill. Later identified as Henry George William Reed of 30 Brockwell Park Gardens, by Oliver Satchwell a friend from the same address. Listed as aged 41, Mr Reed's body was found wearing a 'Shelter Marshall' truss band.
