Mr Mair was an ARP Warden and clothes provided for this role were: for men - Greatcoat, battledress, beret, boots and anklets. Women were issued with - jacket greatcoat, skirt or slacks, felt hat (women drivers beret), shoes. However, the form notes that on the 6th November 1941 he was called-up for the National Fire Service.
