Vestry House Museum’s photographic collection has been built up over many years and documents the changing landscapes of Walthamstow, Chingford, Leyton and Leytonstone. Photographs date from as early as the 1840s to the 21st Century. The images on this site are a snapshot of the Museum’s much larger collection of over 80,000 photographs, lantern slides and negatives.
